The Company’s objectives regarding Safety Management System implementation is to:
- To comply with mandatory rules and regulations at all times
- Protect the environment by implementing safe and pollution free operations
- To assess all identified risks to its ships, personnel and the environment
- To continuously improve the safety management skills of personnel ashore and aboard managed vessels
- Provide resources for safe practices in ship operation and a safe working environment necessary to implement the occupational health and safety program
- Avoid incidents that could cause human injury, loss of life or damage to the environment, the property and assets under its management
- To define and document the organization, responsibility, authority of all personnel ashore and onboard managed vessels, involved in the Safety Management System
- To monitor the effectiveness of the Company’s Safety and Environmental Protection policy
- To use practices, techniques, materials, products, services or energy to avoid, reduce or control the creation, emission or discharge of any type of pollutant or waste
- Improve safety management skills of personnel ashore and onboard ships

In order to effectively implement Safety & Environmental Protection Policy the Company:

- Implements a Safety Management System that provides clear responsibilities and instructions
