Astrobulk Ltd. takes all appropriate and necessary measures in order to prevent, deal with and manage forms of violent behavior and harassment.

Every seafarer has the right to work in an environment free from harassment and bullying and has a responsibility for ensuring a harassment and bullying free environment onboard.

The company considers any complaint of bullying to be a serious issue. Senior Officers on board and DPA ashore have been instructed to deal with and resolve any and all complaints of harassment and bullying. Crew is always encouraged to approach either or both to report any incident suffered.

Astrobulk Ltd. will treat all complaints of harassment and bullying seriously and in strict confidence. Any seafarer on board shall have the right to lodge a complaint and to have that complaint investigated, provided it is specific in nature and is alleged to constitute a breach of seafarers’ rights under the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006), or related Flag regulations. Such a complaint should be recorded on the specifically provided form or to be submitted here. Any victimization of a seafarer for filing a complaint is strictly prohibited.

Our company prioritizes the wellbeing of the seafarers. A key example is the implementation of the learning seaman program focused on the seafarers’ mental health & wellbeing which is available on all Company vessels. This platform offers specialized wellbeing content, self-development materials, meditation, fitness and peer-support tools designed exclusively for our crew.

As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we align our efforts with the needs of the local community. In this context, we prioritize support to animals and wildlife welfare, as well as philanthropic initiatives.

As of 2024, Astrobulk Ltd. is proud to actively support a non profit organization “The Horses of Ymittos” which is dedicated to rescuing and sheltering around 100 abandoned horses.

In 2025, Astrobulk was honored to contribute to TAIKO RYU, an athletic team based in Voula. With our support TAIKO RYU participated in the 2025 European Jiu-Jitsu Championship as member of the Greek National Team and took 3rd and 5th place adding a bronze medal and a high ranking for Greece. The Greek National Team took 2nd place in the general ranking among 26 countries in this prestigious event.

The policy serves as a framework to maintain the company's integrity, internal governance, and overall reputation. It contributes to the identification of risks and to the adoption of the appropriate corrective measures, including but not limited to enhancing the internal control of detecting in advance incidents of serious offenses, applying the appropriate measures to liable parties and, when required, notifying the competent Authorities.

Ensuring an environment of trust and safety for their Employees, Customers and Suppliers, the company encourages reporting in good faith of illegal acts or serious offenses, which come to their attention.

An inviolable principle of the Policy is to protect anonymity and confidentiality of the personal data of Whistle-blowers.

The whistleblowing procedure aims at strengthening transparency, which encourages the reporting of incidents that give rise to violations of the Procedures and Policies of the company as well as the reporting of incidents of serious offences, corruption, coercion or other violations.

In order to facilitate the proper examination and assessment of the submitted reports, the Whistle-blowers are encouraged to provide all available information, including:

(a) The facts giving rise to the suspicion/concern related with the report,

(b) Indicating the date and nature of the event,

(c) The name(s) of the person(s) involved as well as potential witnesses,

(d) Other evidence, including documents and locations.

Categories of reported acts include:

(a) Actions characterized by severe unprofessional negligence, possible fraud, or corruption,

(b) Breaches of the applicable legal and regulatory framework,

(c) Serious violations of company’s Policies and Procedures,

(d) Behaviours that endanger the health and safety of Employees,

(e) Operations harmful to the environment.

All kinds of harassment (e.g. sexual, racial, religious, gender identity etc.), as well as abuse of power and shipboard welfare are managed through the MLC Complaints Procedure & the Harassment and Bullying Policy and are not under the scope of this process.
